Affaire de Coeur’s Hot Guyz Patrol Contest begins March 3, 2010 and will officially end July 1, 2010.
Any published book cover art from the year 2000 to the present may enter in the Hot Guyz Patrol Book Cover Contest.
Entry fee $10 per book cover art

The Rules
• NO PURCHASE OF ANY KIND IS REQUIRED TO ENTER THE HOT GUYZ PATROL BOOK COVER CONTEST
• By entering your book covers in Affaire de Coeur’s Hot Guyz Patrol Contest, you give Affaire de Coeur express permission to use your book cover in their magazine and their online websites.
• All book covers must be your own original book cover, not the property of another individual or company. All genres are accepted for the Affaire de Coeur’s Hot Guyz Patrol Book Cover Contest.
• When you e-mail the copy of your cover art, please include your name, address, and titles of the books you are entering in the contest. The information will be needed to contact you. If you are using a pen name or pen names, please let us know which book goes with which pen name.
• Submitting book covers that are copyrighted to someone other than yourself will not only disqualify you from the Hot Guyz Patrol Contest, but you will be responsible for any legal actions the copyright holder might take against you.
• All book covers must be in English. By submitting a book cover you grant us permission to publish your book cover in Affaire de Coeur and its affiliated websites. You also permit us to edit the book cover, if needed, to make it more acceptable for the pages where it will be placed. We reserve the right not to publish any book cover that we deem unsuitable for the publication.
• You agree to allow us to use your name (or pen name), book title, and cover along with your home state/country if you win or place in the Affaire de Coeur’s Hot Guyz Patrol Contest. Your e-mail address will be kept private and will never be given or sold to a third party.
• Please let us know what information you would prefer with your book cover (or more importantly, what information you do not want with your book cover) so we do not infringe upon your privacy in any way.
• Unused entries will not be returned or used without the express permission of the owner.
• Submitted book cover art will be displayed on our contest pages until a winner has been determined.
Things That Will Assist You in Winning the Affaire de Coeur’s Hot Guyz Patrol Contest (as Well as Our Eternal Gratitude)
• Keep your audience, your readers in mind.
• Your book cover must be suitable for eyes of all ages. You are permitted to submit as many book covers as you like, as long as they were published from 2000 to the present. All genres are accepted for the contest.
The Prizes
The prizes for Affaire de Coeur’s Hot Guyz Patrol Book Cover Contest, which ends on July 1, 2010, are as follows:
Grand Prize (1)
Your book cover will be on a full page in the November/December 2010 edition with a short bullet of your book in the Affaire de Coeur’s magazine. It will also be announced and on the top of the contest page of the Affaire de Coeur web site during the months of the November/December and January/February 2011 edition.
Runners Up (3)
Your book covers will be on a separate page, and will be included on the contest web site page of the Affaire de Coeur’s Patrol Hot Guyz Patrol Contest section. The book covers will be displayed during the months of the November/December 2010 edition. They will be placed in alphabetical order.
The Affaire de Coeur’s Hot Guyz Patrol Book Cover Contest winners will be announced in the Affaire de Coeur’s print magazine and any of its affiliate web sites.
