Make Me Yours

Innkeeper Mariah Eller is irritated when she must serve a pack of inebriated nobles in her inn. When she discovers that one of her guests is none other than Bertie, the Prince of Wales, she realizes she may have to use guile to get out of this unscathed. She may have done her duty too well, for two of the men come back the next day to tell her she has been chosen to be Bertie's next mistress, and as he does not want to leave any illegitimate children behind, she must marry!
Jack St. Lawrence did not think this would be a difficult job. All he has to do is give Mariah a list of prospective husbands, have her choose one and be done with it. But the more time he spends with her, the more he is surprised by her wit, intelligence and earthy sensuality. He knows he cannot claim her for himself, but he may not be able to resist her.
The delightful Betina Krahn returns to bookstore shelves after too long an absence with this clever late Victorian tale. Mariah is an absolutely wonderful heroine, and Jack is an excellent match for her, no matter that he tries to deny it. And as a change of pace, readers will enjoy a look at a different profligate Prince of Wales.
